I built this to give three habits somewhere to land: writing, reading, and building. The bet is that a habit with a public, dated trail is harder to abandon quietly than one kept in a notebook.

It is an Astro site — static, no database, no comments, nothing to maintain beyond adding files. A note is a Markdown file in src/content/notes, a book is one in src/content/reading, and this page is one in src/content/building. Publishing is a commit, which is the lowest friction I could get to without giving something up.

The design is deliberately quiet. Every number on the front page is one I can account for, and the sections that are empty are dated so that they read as recently started rather than long abandoned.
