My career has been shaped by financial services, where complexity, regulation, and speed sit side by side. As a Senior IT Business Analyst, I work on lending and digital payment products—turning business intent and regulatory requirements into something that can actually be built, with business, risk, operations, and technology all in the room, usually disagreeing.

Most of it happens under tight timelines. Priorities shift, systems have limits, and decisions get made on incomplete information. I've grown comfortable there. The work is to bring structure when things are uncertain, and to keep a decision moving rather than waiting for perfect.

I was a Product Manager before this, and it still shapes how I do analysis: I think in outcomes and trade-offs before documents. I also mentor and facilitate, helping people learn business analysis and product work by doing it rather than reading about it.

Off the clock, I stay away from screens. Weekends are usually pretty quiet—I'll wander into a new spot in town, read for a few hours, or just take time to myself to slow down before Monday hits.
